MARIA BEJERANO BELLEN

AK.A Nanay Maria and Manang Marina

August 03, 1935 – March 21, 2022

Maria Bellen, 86 years old passed away peacefully on March 21, 2022 in Glendale, CA.

She is survived by daughters Malu Cordovilla-Bowers and Cecile Cordovilla.  Siblings in the Philippines, Esperanza (Pancing), Lourdes and Nenita.  She had 4 grandchildren, Engelbert, Carlo, Brandon and Lanz; 3 greatgrandchildren, Kaye, Ken and Jonaz.  She was predeceased by her eldest daughter, Bengbeng who passed in 2001.

Maria was a hardworking woman.  Was a good provider to her family.  She worked more than 50 years, in a family where she was loved and treated as their own “family member” and being named as their Manang Marina.  Her last 7 years was greatly spent with her middle daughter, in Glendale CA.  Maria was actively participated in Adult Day Care community 4x a week and she gained a lot of friends.  She was remembered in the Community, as a very happy person, loved to sing and dance.

Maria will be remembered by her middle daughter’s friends as the Nanay Maria who always wear a smile in her face.

Viewing Ceremony will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Luyben Dilday Mortuary 5161 E. Arbor Rd., CA 90808.  Cremation will take place a week after.
