Margaret Rosalia Hengehold

Margaret {Calus} Hengehold was born in a snowy Wisconsin winter on December 15, 1929 to Cyriel and Alexa Calus. She was one of seven siblings: Lana, Henry, Ed, Joe, Ray, and Agnes. The Calus family moved to Detroit, Michigan, when Margaret was still in grade school.
In later years, Margaret met and married a boy from the neighborhood, David Hengehold. Marge and Dave moved to Southern California and bought a home in Long Beach where they lived for more than 50 years. She is survived by her two children, Johanna and Ken, and her grandchildren, Stephen, Peyton, and Kenny, Jr., as well as many nieces and nephews.
Margaret passed peacefully, in her Long Beach home on December 6, 2016. She would have been 87 years old on December 15.
A memorial service for Margaret will be held January 7, 2017 at 11:30am at St. Cornelius Catholic Church 5500 E Wardlow Rd, Long Beach, CA 90808 (562) 421-8966.
