Mae G. Amundson

Mae Amundson, born May 17, 1919, in Golden Lake, ND, was the daughter of Elis and Anna Johnson. When she was 5 the family moved to Honey Ford, ND, where she attended grade school.

Mae graduated from Central High at Grand Forks, ND, in 1938. She married Arnold Amundson, formerly of Grand Forks, in October, 1941, in Long Beach, CA.

Mae and Arnold lived in San Diego for 5 years and then returned to Lakewood, where they made their home since 1950. They had one son, Gary.

Mae worked at Vicki Marsha Originals for 38 years and retired in 1986. She enjoyed traveling and traveled with Smile a Mile, as well as other groups, for several years.

Mae is survived by two grandchildren: Dusty (Chris) and Neil (Brandi), five great-grandchildren, Christopher, Haley, Nick, Addison and Wyatt, as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Arnold and son Gary.
