Lorraine Phyllis Woodhouse

Lorraine P. Woodhouse was born September 3, 1929, and passed away peacefully on July 7, 2024.

Lorraine was a crossing guard for 20 years for the Long Beach Police Department and was an active member of Calvary Chapel of Downey for 40 years. She was an active member of Covenant Keepers and was also involved with Trucking for Jesus for many years.

She is survived by her two children, Galen (Susan) Woodhouse and Deborah (Robert) Curry, both of Dayton, OH; her three grandchildren: Sarah Woodhouse, Joseph Curry and Sarah Curry; along with her eight great grandchildren: Bella Grace Williams,

Ayden Williams, Coltyn Williams, Kaylee Bruner, John Curry, Catherine Little, Skyla Curry and Brianne Curry. Her sister Dolores Luken also survives Lorraine.

An interment service for family only will take place in Forest Lawn, Cypress.

A public Memorial Service will be Saturday, July 20, 2024, at Calvary Chapel of Downey, 12808 Woodruff Avenue, Downey (562-803-5631).

In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made to Youth for Christ of So. Cal., Covenant Keepers or Trucking for Jesus.
