Lorena Gonzalez Galvan

Lorena Gonzalez Galvan was born to Ofelia and Ramon Gonzalez on August 10th, 1972 in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico. At the age of 5, Lorena immigrated to the U.S. with her family and grew up in Long Beach, CA with her four younger siblings.

Lorena went on to graduate from Polytechnic High School. Lorena then joined the company, Quartermaster, at one of their retail stores and was later promoted to a Call Center Manager. Lorena went on to have a 16 year long career at Quartermaster, where she made many memories and life-long friends throughout the years.

In the summer of 2012, Lorena was diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer. While medical specialists gave Lorena a poor prognosis, she fought tirelessly over the years and amazed doctors time and time again. On July 23rd, 2024, Lorena lost her battle to cancer and passed away in Harbor City, CA.

Lorena was a daughter, sister, mother, aunt, and so much more. She has touched the lives’ of many people and has inspired many with her resilience, strength, and love. Lorena is survived by her daughter, Leila, her siblings, Ramon, Armando, Lizzette, and their father, Ramon.
