Linda Rose Fillingame, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2026, at the age of 67 in Paramount, California. She was born in Hollywood, California, Linda’s journey took her through many beautiful chapters, but her heart always belonged near the water.

She spent her childhood in Marina del Rey before moving to Cerritos at age 13, where she later graduated high school in 1976 and attended Cerritos College. As an adult, Linda lived in various parts of Los Angeles County and Riverside County before finding her true home in Bullhead City, Arizona, in 2005, where she resided for twenty vibrant years before returning to Lakewood in late 2025.

Linda was happiest under the sun. In her earlier years, she could always be found tanning by the water and swimming in the Colorado River. She was a true river enthusiast who loved nothing more than going out on boats, riding jet skis, and later, catching up with friends while driving her golf cart around town.

While living along the river, Linda met the love of her life, Frank Remmel. The two spent six wonderful, deeply cherished years together before his passing in 2016.

More than anything, Linda was proud of the beautiful legacy she left behind in her family. She is survived by her three daughters Cristina, Corina and Candace. Her son-in-laws Javier and Missael. She was a cherished grandmother to Alexander, Arianna, Aaron, Aalyiah, Isabella, Zayden, Lilyana, Maczen, and baby girl Cobian; and a great-grandmother to Charlotte Rae, Laneymae Sage, and her newest addition, Harper Joy.

Linda is reunited in peace with her beloved Frank her parents, Harry and Rose Fillingame, her sister, Margaret (Sissy) Munoz and her brothers, Philip and Glenn Fillingame.
