Anyone who knew Les knew he would help wherever he could and with a large family of his own and marrying into the Hamel family, he was often asked for a helping hand. Les loved to build things whether it be a car, an addition to his house, a bus or a bug collection. He was a hardworking, stern, family man who always provided for his family. At 63, Les retired from Aerojet and enjoyed traveling to Cancun with his oldest son, taking trips to the Sierra's with his daughters, traveling to the desert for motorcycle rides and target practice, taking trips to El Dorado park for a birthday party or fishing derby, stopping in at his sons’ homes for a beer and visit and traveling every other year to the Kautsky Kousin Family Reunions.
Les' life was full of exciting adventures, good memories, a good woman and a family that will miss him dearly. Rest in peace Les!
