Lector Orrick Jr.

December 22, 1939 - June 5, 2023

Born and raised in Long Beach, Lector leaves behind his wife of 60 years Carolyn, daughters Jennifer and Veronica and sister Sally.  Served in the U.S. Army.  Graduated from Jordan High School, LBCC and CSULB with BS in Accounting.  Partner in CPA firm Windes and McClaughry.  Retired early to pursue a life filled with lots of golf as a member of El Dorado Park Men's Golf Club, owning and racing quarter horses, ski trips and world travel.  Nicknamed Lector the Collector due to his penchant for collecting everything that interested him.  He had a passion to play craps with his own 'Don't Pass' system.  He was always the funniest person in the room and had a great joke to tell you.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
