Lawrence Steve Romero

Our beloved father Lawrence (Larry) Romero passed away on January 19, 2024, at the age of 65. He is survived by his son Redolfo Romero, daughter Raquel Romero, former wife Betty Gonzalez, grandchildren Roman, Alexandria, Ryan and Rudy Romero, his sisters Debra Ramirez, Margaret Romero, and brother Thomas Cordell. He was preceded in death by mother, Maria (Mary) Romero, sister, Gloria Romero, brother, Juan (Johnny) Romero.
He was born in Long Beach, CA on May 4, 1958. His childhood in Long Beach instilled a lifelong passion for football (Rams), baseball (Dodgers), music, and truck driving. The one thing about Larry is he valued spending time with his family and friends. Where he would watch movies, go to sporting events, or just simply hung out to listen to music. Larry had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. Most of the time you would find him telling a joke, or two.
Our beloved father, grandfather, and brother will be missed and carried in our hearts forever.
The burial will be held at All Souls in Long Beach, CA. (Time-TBD). All family and friends are welcome.
