Lawrence “Larry” Mulock, 51, passed away on July 19, 2020, at home surrounded by family.
Larry was born on August 26, 1968 in Glendale, CA. He was the oldest of four brothers (John, Andy, and Mark) born to Larry Sr. and Connie (Guzman) Mulock. He grew up in San Diego, CA and graduated from Mira Mesa High School in 1986. On March 19, 1994, he married the love of his life, Tiffany (Dailey) Mulock. The two would make a happy home in Lakewood, CA and raise two children – Ricky and Victoria Mulock.
Larry had many lines of work before discovering his true passion – law enforcement. In 2006, he graduated from the Long Beach Police Academy (Class #82) and went on to have the happiest times of his life – serving as a Long Beach police officer. For the next ten years, he would selflessly serve his community, save lives, and infect his fellow officers with his contagious smile.
Larry enjoyed playing golf, baseball, riding bikes, swimming in his pool, going fishing, practicing martial arts, and doing CrossFit workouts. Having been a Boy Scout, he treasured the great outdoors like nothing else! But most of all, he loved being the funniest guy in the room.
Larry was a devout Catholic, whose deep faith in God sustained him through his illness, and other adversities of life.
Larry is survived by his wife Tiffany and their children, Ricky and Victoria; his mother, Connie; his father, Larry Sr; and his brothers, John, Andy and Mark.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, funeral mass will be private, but a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
