Kyle Roger Jongerius

Kyle was born June 18th 1997, in Long Beach California. Kyle is the
son to Dave and Robin, and brother to Stephanie and Jordan. He
was genuinely interested in others. He was funny and quirky and
made us all laugh. Kyle could have a conversation with anyone
(young and older) and touched so many lives in a positive way. He
was always encouraging them by saying things like, “level up”
because he wanted to grow and do the next best thing. He wasn’t
satisfied with the status quo.
He also liked to teach us how to do what he was experiencing too.
He was always learning new things and became a master at playing
the guitar, doing backflips on a scooter, wakeboarding, surfing,
welding, videography, working on boats, trucks, and more. Kyle
enjoyed working with his dad on any and all projects that needed to
be done around the house. He always took things to the next level
with persistence and determination.
Kyle had an amazing connection with children, not only did he go to
Grace for elementary, but also worked at summer day camp
planning and facilitating all kinds of projects for the kids to do. He
kept them laughing and busy. He did the same for his niece, Wesley,
and nephew, Palmer, who couldn’t wait for him to play with them. He
was selfless and always trying to make sure others were doing well
and had what they needed, including his mother.
He loved his family, friends, Jesus, and country. He will be sorely
missed and we know his life impacted others to grow and be their
best.
Kyle is survived by his parents, Dave & Robin Jongerius; sisters,
Stephanie (Sean) Deaton, Jordan (Blaine) Milton; niece, Wesley
Milton; nephew, Palmer Milton; girlfriend, Alexa Fernandez;
grandparents, Jenny Lambert, Larry & Pat Jongerius, Larry & Debra
Lambert; aunts, Lavonne Jongerius, Denise Jongerius, Deborah Morris;
uncles, Stan (Ildy) Lambert, Steve Lambert, Stuart (Nicole) Lambert,
Sean (Tori) Lambert; cousins, Shane, Cassidy, Owen, Jack, Simon and
Carter.
