Kim Long Ear (楊金隆)

In remembrance of our father, Kim Long Ear (楊金隆), who passed away in the early morning of Wednesday, October 5 ^th , 2022.

He is survived by his wife, Seam H. Ung and four children – Meng Huong, Meng Hak, Danny and Tony.

Born in Cambodia, our dad lived through civil unrest and genocide – and survived. Through his actions, he instilled the value of hard work, dedication, and pursuit of a better tomorrow. He was a loving son to his mother, a loyal husband, and a firm, but caring father to his children. Dad often helped others in need – his family, friends, and strangers who became friends. Many knew him for his kindness and generosity, even when times were tough and there was little to go around.

Our dad enjoyed gardening, taking pictures and videos of those he loved, learning about technology, and traveling to new places. We fondly remember him sending birthday and holiday wishes through text and gifs – it was a fun surprise to receive them each time. At times, his texts would consist of a picture of a picture - his way of sharing those important memories.

We are sure that dad is now enjoying all the food he missed eating, walking around without constraints, and traveling to see new sights. He will be remembered and missed dearly.
