Keith Lloyd Hansen

Keith Hansen passed away unexpectedly at home on December 2. Keith was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin to Anna Mae and Lloyd Hansen. In 1952, the family moved to Long Beach, where Keith attended public schools and graduated from Long Beach State. Keith retired in 2010 from a successful career as a school administrator, including at Wilson and Lakewood high schools. An avid Green Bay Packers fan, Keith enjoyed watching all sports and supported student athletes through the Long Beach Century Club, of which he was a past president. He lived an active life, smiling and making friends wherever he went. Keith is survived by his wife Carol Hansen, siblings Karen Vogt (Pete) and Karl Hansen (Linda), in-laws Loretta Madsen (Dennis) and John Van Blom, and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will take place at 10 a.m. January 28 in the Wilson High School auditorium.
