Jutta Moreno, 78, passed awayon August 24th, 2022 with her family by her side.

Jutta was born on December 26th, 1943 in Breslau, Germany. Due to WW II, youngJutta, her mother and aunt fled to Bavaria where they started a new life andJutta welcomed a younger sister, Marion, into their family.

Coburg became Jutta’s new hometown and her favorite place in the world. Shereturned to visit often over the years and it would be the place where she

would meet her future husband of nearly 58 years, Rene, in 1964. Rene was atank gunner stationed with the U.S. army in West Germany and their courtshipwas brief; Jutta and Rene were engaged to be married after dating one month.

Jutta eventually settled in Paramount and then Bellflower, California where sheand Rene raised two children. Jutta spent many years enjoying time both in herhome and in her garden with her seven grandchildren. She was also an activemember of their church and a volunteer with the Red Cross at the Long BeachVeteran’s Hospital. Jutta’s favorite Bible verse, one that she quoted often,was Psalm 46:10: “He says, ‘Be still, and know that I am God.’”

Jutta is survived by her husband, Rene, children Gregg (wife Debbie), Kirsten(husband Steve), and seven grandchildren, Lauren, Alexis, Samantha, Emma,Rachel, Nicholas, and Charlotte of Long Beach, California.
