Julieta Savedra
December 7, 1928 — June 17, 2019
Julieta was born on December 7, 1928 in El Paso, Texas to Andres Galindo and Rebecca Nunez.
She was one of 10 children, five boys and five girls. She lived in Juarez, Chihuahua until the age of 16, when she moved to Los Angeles, California with her mother and siblings after her father passed away.
In 1948 she met her future husband Joe Savedra. They married in 1949 and had two daughters.
Julieta is survived by her two sisters, Olga Martinez, Alice Bojorquez and her brother Armando Galindo.
She leaves behind her two daughters; Rosemary Ortega, Socorro “Corky” Guerra as well as her beloved son Arturo Suarez.
Her legacy lives on with 7 grandchildren; Ernie, José, Ben, Coquita, Tom, Rebecca and Marisa and 10 great-grandchildren, who were the joy of her life; Charlotte, Juliet, Alex, Isaiah, Camilla, Evan, Mia, Cash, Dylan and Joseph, who she lovingly caller her “Coloradito”.
We all loved her beyond measure and will miss her dearly.
