Julie was born on February 16, 1977 to Jay and Diane Lewis, in Anaheim, CA. She was their eldest daughter and a loving sister to, Tracy Lynn, and her brother, Steven Jay.

Julie had many talents but excelled as an athlete in the sport of softball. Her grandpa Floyd was her biggest fan! After high school, she went over to Heartwell Bobby Sox to see what was going on at the fields and that is where she met Rene Lupinetti, who became her best friend. Julie came to love the Lupinetti family and held them close to her heart. Julie was a cheerleader for Lakewood pop warner, where she earned a “young scholar award” for her accomplishments in her studies. There wasn’t anything Julie couldn’t excel at.

She also loved riding dirt bikes, cooking, camping, and most of all plants and flowers. Julie and Chad had a side business landscaping yards in San Diego, which she loved to brag about how beautiful the homes looked when they were finished.

Julie’s greatest love was her son, Rudy (bubby). She was so proud of him and all he has become. She was so proud of him and loved watching him play his favorite sport football. Her heart swelled with pride when he decided to become an American Soldier.

Julie also had a daughter, Camryn, who died a SIDS death at six weeks young. This broke her heart.

Julie loved hanging with all her family, especially loved Christmas Eve with the Anderson’s and Christmas Day with the Lewis families.

When her cousins had kids of their own, she loved playing and laughing with them. And they loved seeing her.

And you could be sure you were going to have fun when you went on excursions with her. Julie and her mom and sister loved going to country concerts together. They went to many.

She had such a full life, in such a short time, it is hard to list them all.

Julie studied to become a medical assistant, and when graduation came, she was valedictorian and we were so proud of her. Julie was working at Moores UC San Diego cancer center with the Clinical Trails team for 5 years. She was Clinical Research Coordinator and she was so proud of her job. She cared deeply for the patients she worked with.

Julie is survived by her mom (Diane), dad (Jay) and her sister (Tracy), brother (Steve), grandmother, (Nancy) and son (Rudy) and her fiancé, (Chad). And many Aunts and Uncles and cousins.
