Joseph G Lozano, age 82, of Long Beach, CA passed away June 21, 2015 (Father's Day) in his home as he was getting ready to leave for church. Joe was raised in Bakersfield, California with four older sisters. His mother, Mary possessed a very strong love for God which she instilled in her children. He began his lifetime successful career as a land leasing agent with Gulf Oil. He relocated to Long Beach after accepting a position as a manufacturer's representative with Proto Tool Company. Here he found his niche as a super salesman and remained a manufacturer's representative the rest of his career. Joe was a devoted family man and a loving father and grandfather. He met and married Rose "Rosebud" Krier, his loving wife of 54 years in Long Beach. Together they had three daughters and six granddaughters. Joe is survived by his wife Rose; his daughter and son-in-law Julie and Rick Beall of Long Beach; his daughter Kathie Sitton of Huntington Beach; his daughter Michelle Samuelson of Seal Beach; his six granddaughters Kelsey, Madison, Samantha, Shelby, Sydney, and Sabrina; and his two sisters Lucy Banducci and Esther Lozano, both of Bakersfield, CA. He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Mary Lozano of Bakersfield, CA; two sisters Ruth Lozano and Carmel Bertolucci; and his wonderful son-in-law Mike Samuelson. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 30, at St. Joseph's Church in Long Beach at 10:30am with a celebration of life to follow at the Long Beach Yacht Club.
