Jose Luis Luna Frias
August 5, 1951 — December 9, 2021
Jose Luis Luna Frias was born August 5, 1951, in Michoacan.
Jose was the oldest of all his siblings. He was raised there until he relocated to the United States. Jose began a career in mechanics at a young age and continued that for many years.
In 1975, he met Josie and in 1976 they had their first child together Lisa and later got married. Jose and Josie went on to have more children, Jose Luna Jr. in 1980, and his favorite, Candace Luna.
The family lived in Long Beach and raised their kids there until they relocated to Lancaster. They bought a house there and lived there until their kids grew up.
Jose was a provider and took care of his children. Jose was always joking around and always had a smile on his face. He always helped everybody with whatever he could. In 2013, he had another child, Julieanne, whom he took care of and loved dearly. In 2014, Jose accepted the Lord in his life. His last days were spent in Lancaster with his daughters Candace and Julieanne, grandsons Noah and Izaiyah.
On December 9, 2021 unbeknown to us the Lord called Jose home to spend his everlasting peace with him. He leaves to cherish his memories with Candace and Julieanne Luna, wife Josie Luna, his grandchildren Noah, Izaiyah, Milan, Italia and Tatyana.
His sisters and brothers Elvia, Sylvia, Maria Elena, Gloria, Lupe, Jesse, Juan and Antonio.
Jose is preceded in death by his mother Fidelia, Father Jose Luna, brothers Agustine and Beto and granddaughter Naleiyah.
