John James Pindard, born July 23, 1929 and went to be with God on October 3, 2019.
John was born in Warrington, England, to parents John James and Mary Pindard. He had 2 brothers and 5 sisters.
He served his apprenticeship (in England) in the Structural Steel Trade in Fabrication, Erection and Drafting. He had his own office for the last 12 years of his career.
He was drafted for the Korean War in 1950 and serviced in the NATO Forces with the Royal Air Force.
In 1953, he married his beloved, Mary Butler, and immigrated to Canada. His daughter Susan was born in Ontario, where they lived until 1956. They moved to LA in 1956 where daughter Christine and son John were born, in 1959 and 1962, respectively.
He was an avid soccer fan, loved traveling with his family, and practicing his faith. He was a good, kind, funny guy.
He leaves behind his wife, Mary, daughters Susan Monsoor, Christine Pontius and son, John. As well as 3 grandchildren, Rachel (Doug) Williams, Kevin (Kristin) Monsoor and Shane Pindard and 5 great-grandchildren, Blair, Blake and Bennett Williams and Greyson and Weston Monsoor.
Funeral Services are Friday, October 11 th at 10:00 am at Holy Family Catholic Church, Leisure World, Seal Beach. Burial at Good Shepherd, Huntington Beach.
