John Joseph Murray
September 2, 1936 — November 16, 2022
John Joseph Murray, 86, also affectionately known by Sean and JJ, died suddenly on November 16, 2022.
John was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland. He made annual sojourns to Ireland and England to visit his relatives and friends.
He was a friend to anyone who knew him and was quick with a witty joke or story. John was an avid tennis player who could clean the court with people half his age and enjoyed being the other half of his wife Kathleen’s bridge duo.
“John, Sean, JJ, Dad, Grandad, and Papa will be missed by us all.”
He is survived by his loving family including his wife of 61 years, Kathleen Mary Murray, children Peter (Cheryl) Murray, Clare Murray, Angela (Guy) Murray Hart, Jane (Tony) Murray Lovett, Anthony Murray, Kevin Murray, and Ann Murray Ratcliffe, along with his grandchildren Emily Waller, Kevin Murray, Darcy O'Shea, Travis O'Shea, Sean Lovett, Griffin Hart and 2 Great Grandchildren.
