John Richard Mallette

John R. Mallette was born on August 17, 1967 in Saigon, Vietnam. His parents, Ron and Lien and John's brother, Paul left Vietnam in 1967 and lived in Mobile Alabama for a couple of years. John's dad found work in California and they lived in Long Beach ever since. He attended Rogers Middle school and Wilson High School. John worked in the auto body business for 35 years. He managed Facelift Auto Body and Burkes Auto Body, both located in Long Beach. He loved surfing in Huntington Beach with his two sons, J.T. and Cody. He also enjoyed many rounds of golf in his lifetime. He is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He is survived by wife Tami and his two sons, J.T. and Cody.
