Jocelyn Mapa Bernal, 48, passed away on April 1, 2016, in Long Beach, California, of cancer. She was born in Olongapo City, Philippines on February 10, 1968, to Isaias and Maria Loreta Bernal. She lived a challenging life, being both deaf and mute since birth. Jocelyn will be remembered for her contagious smile and never ending love and affection for her 9 nieces and nephews. She was truly loved and will be greatly missed by her friends and family. Jocelyn is survived by her loving parents Isaias and Maria Loreta Bernal from Long Beach, CA; sisters Adelina Arimbuyutan from Olongapo City, Philippines and Carolina Diaz from San Diego, CA; and brothers Eduardo Bernal from Olongapo City, Philippines, and Arthur and Ruben Bernal from Long Beach, CA.
