Jinky Solis Williams, 46, beloved wife of 8 years to Derrick S. Williams, Sr., passed away peacefully in her home with her loving family at her side, on January 4, 2019.
Jinky was a woman of confidence and strength, a wife of limitless support to her husband, a loving and nurturing mother who instilled core values, and a friend with a contagious laughter and an open heart.
She was born in Cavite City, Philippines and immigrated to America when she was only fifteen years old. She was the youngest of seven children and eventually went on to call Long Beach, CA her home. Jinky worked in admissions and marketing in the healthcare industry for over 18 years. She loved that her job entailed interacting and communicating with various people every day.
Jinky was an engaging and personable woman who inspired joy and happiness to all of those around her. She enjoyed cooking various types of cuisine for her family, especially when it brought everyone together. She had a love for films and experiences that exposed her to new cultures. Any opportunity to spend time with her family and loved ones is what she truly enjoyed.
She is survived by her husband, Derrick S. Williams, Sr. In addition to her husband, Jinky is survived by three loving children, Charina Fabilane, Ashley Fabilane and Derrick S. Williams, Jr. (DJ); her father, Joaquin Solis; and six siblings, Edgardo Solis, Dante Solis, Charito Lapan, Marissa Batario, Ronaldo Solis and Ariel Solis.
