James J. Krupa
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, October 11th, 1946 – February 17th, 2025
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jim Krupa, who passed away peacefully in his home on February 17th, 2025, at the age of 78. Jim was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and was raised alongside three brothers and one sister.
Jim proudly served in the U.S. Army, spending time stationed in Germany and serving in Vietnam. After his military service, he made his mark in the automotive industry, where he worked for many years. Approximately 45 years ago, Jim relocated to California.
Jim was a devoted father to his two sons, Al and Craig, and his daughter, Amy, who blessed him with six grandchildren. In 1998, Jim married Adelaida, Adelaida has seven additional grandchildren who brought joy to his life. Jim and Adelaida were married for 26 years.
A true lover of the sport, Jim enjoyed hunting and fishing with his sons and his brother, Joe. He was also a car enthusiast, owning many classic cars throughout his life and proudly being a member of the Sultans Car Club.
In 2005, Jim underwent a heart transplant, an operation that gave him an additional 20 years to live life to its fullest. His resilience, and love for life were evident to all who knew him.
Jim's passing leaves a void and he will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and everyone whose life he touched.
