James “Jim” Italiano, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully at home, in Long Beach, California on May 24, 2026, at the age of 80, with his devoted wife, Chrissy, by his side.

Born on March 26, 1946, Jim grew up in Rosemead, California alongside his two brothers, Bruce and Pete, where they created lifelong memories and deep family bonds. He went on to attend Loyola University, where he cultivated the values that would build the foundation for a life centered on family, hard work, and service to others.

In 1968, Jim married Nancy, and together they raised two children, Michelle and Jimmy, of whom he was immensely proud. He later found the great love of his life in Chrissy, whom he married in 2002, and their union brought him the joy of being part of her sons, Max and Ross’s lives.

Jim began his professional career in service to his community, working as a teacher and high school vice principal in Cerritos, California. He was widely respected for his leadership, steady presence, and the genuine care he showed to the students and families. He later pursued his passion in real estate in Long Beach, California, where he truly loved building relationships with and getting to know each client and helping them however he could.

Outside of work, Jim valued health and enjoyed jogging and staying active. He appreciated art, good food, and traveling the globe almost as much as he loved scratcher tickets, Claro’s sausages, and Dodger games.

Jim will be remembered for his quiet strength, his unwavering commitment to his family, and the steady example he set through a life lived with perseverance, dignity, and genuine care for those around him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Chrissy; his children, Michelle and Jimmy; his stepsons, Max and Ross; his grandchildren; Milana, Josiane, Ben, and Elle; and a wide circle of extended family members and friends who will carry his memory with them always and miss him dearly.
