Jack Alvin Ostermann, a humble servant of the Lord, aged 96, was called to our eternal home on March 13, 2024, from Artesia, California. Born on January 25, 1928, in Racine, Wisconsin, Jack answered the call of duty as a United States Navy Seaman, First Class USNR, during World War II.

From his early college days, Jack's heart was committed to Christian Ministry. He devoted his life to the sacred mission of evangelism, tirelessly sowing the seeds of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. His unwavering commitment to the ministry spanned from 1937 to 2008, and beyond. As an ordained Pastor, he served the Lord for over seventy years, encouraging others in loving service to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, until he was called home to be in the presence of our Lord.

Jack's legacy of faith and love continues through his family: John and Karen Ostermann, Lynne and John Parker, and Jim and Kim Ostermann. His blessings multiplied through eleven grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren, each a testament to his enduring love and guidance. Preceding him in the journey to the Lord's presence were his beloved wife Marilyn and his precious granddaughter Kara.

In recognition of Jack, a graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on April 12 at Forest Lawn in Cypress, CA.  In lieu of flowers, we encourage donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, cff.org/donate, a cause close to Jack's heart.
