Howard Harold Bennett October 24, 1928 - June 10, 2018 Howard Harold Bennett died on Sunday June 10, in Roswell, GA. At the age of 89. Howard is survived by his wife of 45 years Alicia Bennett, his 5 children Barbara, Richard, Mark, Carlos, Craig, his grandchildren Ashley, Braydon, Madyson, Jacob & Brianna, his great grandchildren Silas & Soren his sister Connie and many nieces, nephews & friends. Howard died peacefully in his home in Roswell, GA. In the company of family. As a professional Antique Automobile restorer, he was a part of a dying breed, there wasn’t anything he couldn’t fix or rebuild,he retired in the late nineties after decades of building and restoring cars for hundreds of customers. His love of cars started in Seattle Washington at the age of 13 when he served an apprenticeship with the Packard Motor Car Co. & it never stopped. Howard moved to Southern California in the early sixties in the San Fernando Valley area and finally settled in Long Beach in 1975 where his businesses and most of his work was done, until he moved to Georgia in 2008. Howard was the patriarch of a very large and extended family, a benevolent man who loved to tell stories of his life’s adventures. All the young children in the family either called him Uncle Howard or Grandpa Howard, no other title could describe him or his love for the family that he & Alicia helped bring here from Argentina many years ago, any better He will be missed by all and surely never forgotten!RIP Dad!
