Henry "Hank" Michael Osborne O'Hara

Henry was born on July 14 ^th , 1934 in Niagara Falls, New York to George Osborne O’Hara and Margaret Thomas Weber O’Hara. He passed away on April 10 ^th , 2020 in Pleasanton CA at 85 years old.

Henry (Hank as most called him) moved to Long Beach, CA when he was a senior in high school and graduated from Saint Anthony, Long Beach in 1952. Hank went on to attend California Polytechnic University and graduated in 1957 with an engineering degree.

In 1972 Hank accepted a sales position with Intel and moved his family to Cupertino, CA.

Hank worked for several tech companies in his long sales career. He was a natural born salesman. Even to the end he would try to sell real estate to those at Sunol Creek Memory Care!

Hank was always the life of the party, with a bottle of wine in one hand and a joke at the ready. Hank traveled the world and loved wine as long as it “poured downhill” He also loved snow and waterskiing, good food, and anyplace there was “action”.

Hank was preceded in death by his parents and sister Mary Grobaty. He is survived by his sisters Anne Russell and Denise Forgeron, son, Christopher O’Hara, daughter Heather Schomaker (Michael), daughter Kelly (Scott) Goodwin, sons Mark (Patti) Kempton and Shawn (Trisha) Kempton, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial mass will be held at Saint Barnabas Church in Long Beach, CA at 11:00 on October 9 ^th , 2021.
