Greg was born in Long Beach, CA on June 5, 1952, to father, Sam Arcuri and mother, Vivian Arcuri. He grew up in Lakewood CA, with his loving parents and brother, Jeff Arcuri.
Music played a large role in his life, and he had the ability to pick up any instrument and play like a Virtuoso, within a short period of time. He was a member in many bands, even employed as the Keyboard Technician for Burton Cummings (Former Lead of the Guess Who) during one of the Tours.
For a period of time, Greg worked at Music Express Limousine Services, handling limousines for several of the Entertainment companies including Universal Studios and 20th Century Fox.
Greg married Lisa Larrinaga on April 13, 1996, and soon after their daughter, Jessica Marie, was born. The three have since resided in Lakewood, CA.
The year 2000, brought business ventures, with Greg starting Marina Oil Services, to work with another love of his – Boats. In his free time, he was an avid boater, and even earned his Captain’s License.
Greg found happiness in the simple pleasures of life. His passions included the ocean, fishing, and cooking. He had a constant suntan, a beautiful head of hair, and could whip up some mean chicken enchiladas, and lasagna to die for.
He was an active member of his local parish, St. Pancratius. He cared for his family deeply, including his dogs.
Greg had a contagious smile, a great sense of humor, and a carefree spirit. He brought amusement to all he spent time with. He loved life and unapologetically lived it his way. He will be dearly missed by all who loved him.
He remained brave and optimistic up to his final moments, and his strength was evident and admirable.
Greg is survived by his wife, Lisa Arcuri, daughter, Jessica Arcuri, and brother, Jeff Arcuri. He is preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Vivian Arcuri, and his daughter, Tara Arcuri.
