Gordon Julius Mueller

Gordon J. Mueller passed away on August 17, 2023. He was born on January 29, 1936 in West Allis, Wisconsin to Marie and Julius Mueller and was the youngest of seven children. After graduating from Don Bosco High School in Milwaukee, Gordon earned a college degree and also enlisted in the National Guard where he served for six years until 1960. He worked several years in Wisconsin before moving to California in 1962 where he met his future wife, Juanita through singles clubs at their respective parishes of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Long Beach and Blessed Sacrament in Hollywood. Gordon and Juanita married on February 23, 1963 and became members of St. Hedwig Catholic Church in Los Alamitos in 1967 where they have been members ever since. Gordon is survived by wife Juanita Mueller; children Angela Bermudez, Jeff Mueller, Kristine Stewart, Craig Mueller, and Dan Mueller. Gordon was a warm and caring person who touched the hearts of many during his 87 years. He inspired others with his love of life and making connections with others by being always willing to talk and donate his time and resources to the church, school, and local community services. Although his caring spirit will be truly missed, Gordon’s legacy can be seen in the effect that his love had on those around him.
