Geralyn Marie Baker ("Geri") passed away suddenly Wednesday, September 6th 2017.  She was born on March 9th 1952 in Inglewood, CA, and raised in Hollydale, CA. She spent her entire life in the Southern California area where, after graduating from Pius X High School in 1970, she worked in the finance departments of Silkauf Manufacturing, and then Certified Grocers, until her retirement. Geri had a deep love for her family. She is survived by her husband, Bob, her daughter, Melissa Hood (Kevin), siblings Bob (Midori) and Mary Jo (Paul) and grandchildren, Kendall and Madison Hood.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Cornelius and Mary. She will be deeply missed, and we take solace in knowing she has re-joined many family members and friends who have passed on before her. She will be remembered for her incredible kindness and generosity.
A funeral mass will take place at 10:30 a.m. at St. Cyprian Church in Long Beach, CA on Saturday, September 16, 2017 . Internment will follow at All Souls Cemetery.
