George Emile Jacot
February 16, 1940 — July 13, 2022
George Emile Jacot, beloved husband of Susanne Ruth Jacot (passed in 2021), father of son David Emile Jacot, brother of Julio Jacot and Sergio Jacot, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, July 13, 2022.
George worked as a commercial artist for 40 years and as custodian at the Florissant police station for another 20.
Born in Mexico City, D.F. in 1940, he emigrated with is family to St. Louis, Missouri in 1946. His dad Jules Jacot was the head Lion Tamer at the St. Louis Zoo on and off for 30 years. George helped his dad one summer on the road with the lion act in the late 50's when Jules had one of his periodic fallings out with the Zoo management.
Married once prior, he met my mom in 1969 and they married in 1970. After 51 years of marriage, mom passed away peacefully at their home in May 2021. Once Dad is cremated his ashes will be mixed into the urn containing Mom. Dad will now join her in the forever after.
