George Ann Hillis
June 13, 1944 — August 15, 2021
George Ann is survived by her sons Pete, Bud, and Tony Hillis, her long time boyfriend Vince Scalise, her sister Charlene Robinson, brother George Allen, grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Born in Westchester, Pennsylvania, June 13th 1944, she grew up in Wilmington Delaware. She got married in 1960 and brought her 3 children to California in 1966. The family ended up in Lakewood where she helped build a successful family business, Petes Plumbing, which was started in 1972, and has prospered for almost 50 years now.
In 1982 she began working as a property manager at Anderson Property management where she retired after 25 years.
Dementia took her from us at the age of 77, as the disease progressed over the last few years.
Her family is comforted in knowing she joins her son Dwayne, her mother Helen and father George who lovingly greeted her into her new home on August 15, 2021.
