With heavy hearts, we celebrate the life of Francis (Frank) Eugene Grandstaff, who passed away December 26, 2022. He was 91.

Frank was born July 21, 1931 in Compton, CA to the late Ernest & Virginia Grandstaff. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict and was awarded the National Defense Service and Good Conduct Medals. He served 4 years active duty and 4 years in the reserves.

Frank is survived by his sister, Edna Harter of Mohave Valley, AZ, and 6 children: Dale Meyers, Terry Barager, Cathy Grandstaff, Dotty Grandstaff-Hatton, Patricia Nagel, and David Grandstaff.

He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Frank lived a humble, but fulfilling life, witnessing some of the world's most significant events and always having a story to tell. Frank was a man of many hats. He was an Air Force veteran, cabinet maker, construction worker, handyman, craftsman, and fisherman, and truly a man of nature . His most treasured titles were husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.

Frank passed away in his home surrounded by family on December 26, 2022. We welcome anyone who would like to celebrate his life with us at 2:00 pm on January 21, 2023 @ Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 9148; 13932 Valley View Avenue, La Mirada, CA 90638.
