Ferdie Dioso was the only son of Bessie and Edison. He was born on July 27, 1967, in San
Pablo City, Laguna in the Philippines. He had an older sister named Beth and a younger sister
named Aileen. He spent his youth climbing trees and helping his dad work on the railroad.
During this time his mother moved to the United States to start her dream of acquiring a better
future for her 3 children.
When Ferdie was 14 he moved to the United States and joined his mother and younger sister.
His older sister later joined them. Upon moving to the United States he gained a stepfather,
Fred, and 2 stepsisters, Michelle and Melissa.
When he was 20, he married Angie, and together they had 1 daughter named Ashley. Although
they divorced, he and Angie remained close friends. Ferdie was a devoted father and his
daughter’s best friend. He was his mother’s “favorite son,” and he tested his sister’s patience.
He could be moody on occasion, but you would often find him laughing and smiling. He was
incredibly goofy and playful. His smile lit up his entire face.
Ferdie was hardworking and enjoyed his job. He worked at Audiovisions for 25 years. He
enjoyed spending his free time with his family or throwing strikes at the bowling alley. He
enjoyed researching new technology, meticulously taking care of his vehicles, and taking selfies
with his grandchildren, Jalen, 5 years old, Shawn, 4 years old, and Kaia, 2.5 months old.
Ferdie had a kidney transplant 18 years ago, and his older sister was the donor. He developed
Covid-19 in early February and had an upward battle with Covid-19 related complications.
Sadly, Ferdie passed away on March 6, 2022. He leaves behind his daughter, Ashley,
grandchildren; Jalen, Shawn, and Kaia. His mother Bessie, his sisters; Beth, Aileen, Melissa,
Michelle. His nephew Aaron, nieces and nephews from his first marriage, a host of cousins, and
his best friend Angie. His goofy laugh and beautiful smile are deeply missed, but he will forever
live on in our hearts.
