Felipe Lara
May 12, 1961 — March 10, 2021
On March 10, 2021 our dear father, son, Brother, grandfather, cousin, nephew, Felipe Lara lost his battle to pneumonia. We all prayed and hoped he would get better. His sudden and unexpected passing leaves us with a broken heart. However, we feel comfort knowing that he is no longer suffering.
He was born on May 12, 1961 in San Luis Potosí, Mexico. Best gift to his mother, Juana Rodriguez, being so close to Mother’s Day and to his father Lorenzo Lara+.
He married his sweetheart Carmen Garcia on July 18, 1986 and had three children, Felipe Jr. Lara, Rodolfo Lara and Belen Lara. He was a quiet man with a dry sense of humor. Hard working and willing to go out of his way to help others. Empathetic, loving and caring towards all but especially with his children. Nevertheless he knew how to enjoy a good tequila.
He is survived by his wife, three children and four grandchildren, his mom, eight siblings and nieces and nephews. About thirteen days prior to Felipe’s passing, his father, Lorenzo Lara, suddenly also passed. May they both find each other in heaven.
Felipe and Lorenzo will always be dearly in our hearts.
