Evelyn Elaine Williamson Dominguez was born on April 4, 1930, in Barada, Nebraska. Her parents were Carl Edmond Williamson and Alice May Rowell Karst Wiliamson. Evelyn was the 6th of seven children born to her parents. The names of her brothers and sisters were Louise Karst Barber, Harold Karst, Mildred Karst Weddle, August Karst, Eleanor Janice Williamson Howell, and Carl Williamson.

When Evelyn was 10 years old, her family moved from Nebraska to Southern California. They lived on Record Street in East Los Angeles.

Evelyn attended Garfield High School. In the summer of 1947 when she was only 17 years old, Evelyn was working at George's Hot Dog Stand when she met her future husband, Alfonso (Al) Dominguez. They only knew each other for 6 short weeks when they decided to go to Yuma, Arizona, and were married on September 7.

After Al and Evelyn were married, they made their first home in Los Angeles, CA. Their first son, Steven Ray Dominguez, was born in May of 1948. When Al and Evelyn were expecting their second child, they decided to purchase a home in the City of Lakewood. They were given the keys to their new home on Thanksgiving Day in 1950 and their second child, Debra Lynn Dominguez Harmaning, was born in December of 1950. Their third child, Teresa Susan Dominguez DeLoa, was born in June of 1953, and their fourth child, Jon Alan Dominguez, was born in February of 1956.

Evelyn was a homemaker and took care of their home and their children. She loved being a mother to her own children and she even took care of all the children in their neighborhood. Evelyn was also very active in her church. She was a member of the Nazarene Church for over 50 years.  She was a Sunday school teacher and a youth director. She was also very involved in Vacation Bible School every summer. Evelyn was also very active in the Camp Fire Girls Association. She was a troop leader for over 15 years.

In May of 1979, Al and Evelyn relocated to Citrus Heights, CA. A little while after they moved, Evelyn began working at the Department of Consumer Affairs, Accountancy Board where she worked for over 10 years.

In September of 1997, Al and Evelyn celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. All of their family and friends were there to celebrate with them. On December 25, 1997, tragedy struck when Evelyn's dear husband, Al, passed away. Evelyn was heartbroken and she never fully recovered from losing Al.

Evelyn lived alone in the home she shared with Al for a few more years, but in 2004, Evelyn moved to Hesperia, CA, to live with her youngest son, Jon. She stayed in Hesperia until her health declined and it was decided she would move to Terri's house so she could be taken care of by her two daughters.

During the last month of Evelyn's life, she was placed in hospice care. Terri and Debi took care of her around the clock until she took her last breath at 8:16 p.m. on July 12, 2018. Evelyn passed away peacefully in her sleep with her two daughters by her side.

Evelyn Dominguez was a kind and loving woman. She took care of everyone and she loved everyone. It did not matter if you were family or a friend, she treated everyone with loving kindness and did everything she could to help them. She always gave everyone hugs and she told everyone she loved them.

Evelyn was a Christian and she loved Jesus with all her heart. She would load up her car every Sunday and take as many children as she could fit in her car to church with her. Many people were lead to Jesus Christ because of Evelyn.

Evelyn is survived by her sister Jann; her four children Steve, Debi, Terri, and Jon; her grandchildren Chuck, Barbi, Dawn, Cari, and Melissa; her great-grandchildren Sarah, Nicole, Evan, Celeste, Noelle, Bella, Connor, Emma, Xavier, and Lily; extended family and friends.

Anyone who ever met Evelyn will forever be touched by her generosity and loving nature. She will be sorely missed by all. Heaven now has a new angel.
