Evelia Landeros

Evelia Landeros fue una amorosa esposa, madre, hermana, abuela y una amiga muy querida.  El 11 de Enero del 1952, Evelia nació en Tepatitlán, Jalisco, hija de Felipe Guzman y María Cabrera de Guzman.  Su padre abrio una  pequeña tienda para Evelia y sus hermanas llamada el “Page y LLeve”. Se mudo a los Estados Unidos en 1974 y se casó con Ramón Landeros poco después.  Evelia residía en Paramount, California, como ama de casa para muchos.  El 22 de Octobre del 2023 a la edad de 71 años fallecio serenamente.  Sobreviven su esposo Ramón Landeros, su hija Verónica García, su yerno Pedro Garcia su hijo Ramón Landeros Jr,  su nuera Tracy Landeros, su hija menor Evelin Ramírez, su yerno Daniel Ramirez, su hermano Abel Guzmán, su hermana María De Jesús Guzmán, su hermano Raymundo Guzmán, su hermano Luis Guzmán, su hermana Sofía Guzmán, su hermano Cesario Guzmán, su hermano menor Felipe Guzmán, su nieta Natalia García, su nieto Joaquín Ramírez, su nieta Abigail García y su nieta menor Eloísa Ramírez.

A Evelia le gustava una buena cena y un buen vino...literalmente. Le encantaba que la llevaran al casino con su esposo y disfrutó de muchos viajes a lo largo de los años con su familia y amigos. A Evelia le encantaba mantener su jardín lleno de suculentas y rascar boletos de lotería con su esposo mientras desayunaba en el restaurante local.  Le encantaba un buen chisme y era el alma de todas las fiestas.  No bebía mucho, pero cuando lo hacía, eran "shots, shots shots".  Sabía cómo involucrar a todos y hacía que todos se sintieran especiales.  Si estabas cerca de Paramount savias que devias pasar a la casa de los Landeros, Evelia siempre tenía comida para cualquier ocasión (gorditas, mmm).  Tenía muchas ganas de volver a ver a sus padres y a su cuñada, Lupe.  Continuaremos celebrando su vida, ya que tuvo un gran impacto en todos nosotros.

Evelia Landeros was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and a very dear friend.  On January 11, 1952, Evelia was born to Felipe Guzman and Maria Cabrera de Guzman in Tepatitlan, Jalisco.  Her father started a small store business for Evelia and her sisters called “El Page y Lleve”. She moved to the USA in 1974 and married Ramon Landeros shortly after.  Evelia resided in Paramount, CA as a stay-at-home mom to many. On October 22, 2023, Evelia passed away peacefully at the age of 71.  She is survived by her husband Ramon Landeros, daughter Veronica Garcia, son-in law Pedro Garcia, son Ramon Landeros Jr, daughter-in-law Tracy Landeros, youngest daughter Evelin Ramirez, son-in-law Danny Ramirez, brother Abel Guzman, sister Maria De Jesus Guzman, brother Raymundo Guzman, brother Luis Guzman, sister Sofia Guzman, brother Cesario Guzman, youngest brother Felipe Guzman, granddaughter Natalia Garcia, grandson Joaquin Ramirez, granddaughter Abigail Garcia and youngest granddaughter Eloisa Ramirez.

Evelia enjoyed being wined and dined, literally.  She loved to be taken to the casino with her husband and enjoyed many trips throughout the years with her family and friends. Evelia loved attending to her garden full of succulents and scratching lotto tickets with her husband while having breakfast at the local restaurant.  She loved a good chisme and was the life of every party.  She didn’t drink much but when she did, it was “shots, shots, shots”. She knew how to get everyone involved and made everyone feel special.  If you were near Paramount, you knew to stop by at the Landeros, Evelia always had food for any occasion (gorditas, yum).  She was looking forward to seeing her parents again and her sister-in-law, Lupe.  We will continue to celebrate her life as she made such an impact to us all.

A Celebration of Life event will be arranged at St. Pancratius 3519 St. Pancratius Place, Lakewood, CA.
