Esther Jean Clark
April 6, 1924 — July 8, 2018
Esther Jean Clark, Pennsylvanian Dutch, was born April 6th, 1924 in Lower Augusta Township, Northumberland Pennsylvania.
Her twin sister Edith was born 10 minutes later. She was raised in her family’s two story farmhouse and working on the farm shaped her work ethic and strong character.
Esther was married March 23rd 1946 to Paul Emerson Clark. They celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary before his passing in 1995.
Esther became a Realtor and Notary at age 50. Despite her late start she had a successful 31 year career. She was incredibly proud of her honesty and hard work. Real Estate was Esther’s passion and after retirement she continued her involvement by being a mentor to young realtors starting their career.
Soon after her family relocated to Southern California Esther joined Concordia Lutheran Church and remained a devoted member until her passing. Esther was a dedicated and faithful wife, mother and grandmother.
Esther is survived by her sons Mark Paul and Todd Jeffrey; daughter-in-law Karen Clark; grandchildren, Erica, Brian and Ella and great-grandchild Parker.
In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in her name to Concordia Lutheran Church, Cerritos.
