Lilian died peacefully surrounded by her family August 30, 2016 in Fountain Valley, California at the age of 71. Lilian is survived by her husband of 51 years Chris, son Alan, daughter Catherine and her husband Seamus, son Dennis and his wife Krista, son Brian and his wife Laurie, grandsons Shane, U.S. Army, Nicholas, U.S. Navy and Colin, granddaughers Sarah and Caroline. Lilian was born April 1945 in Slane, Co. Meath, Ireland. After graduating school she began her long and beloved nursing career. She met and married husband Chris in London in 1966 and then took time off to raise her four children. After resuming her nursing career she emigrated to the U.S. where continued with her nursing before retiring in 2016. Lilian bravely and quietly battled M.S. until her death.

A memorial mass will be celebrated in St. Cornelius Church 5500 E. Wardlow Rd, Long Beach, CA 90808 on Saturday, September 10, 1pm. Reception afterwards at Marriott Long Beach, 4700 Airport Plaza Dr. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the M.S. Society to help fight this disease, link below.
