On Friday, December 13, 2019 Edward Kidd, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away at the age of 80.

Edward was born on March 6, 1939 in Hammond Lake, Indiana to Arthur and Grace (Waugaman) Kidd. As a Veteran of the Vietnam war he served in the US Navy for 20 years. After retiring from the navy, he joined the painter’s union where he worked for 11 years. He is married to Jacqueline Lee Gordon. Together they raised four daughters, Linda, Barbara, Carol and Judy.

Ed had a passion for serving others. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints he served as a bishop and a missionary. His missions included Temple ordinance worker and bishop storehouse manager. He loved spending time with his family, especially his 13 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. He also enjoyed classic cars, woodworking, being outdoors, traveling, and food.

Edward was preceded in death by his father, Arthur, and his mother, Grace. He is survived by his wife Jackie, his four daughters and three sons-in-law. His 13 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
