Doris Jean Nash

Doris Jean Fearneyhough, born on July 23, 1931 in Lynnville, Illinois, passed away on September 26, 2026 in Cerritos, California at the age of 95. She grew up on a farm before marrying Richard Nash, who preceded her in death. Together they raised three children, Corinne, Lyndell, and David in Southern California, where Doris balanced work and family life with a sharp wit that those who knew her won’t soon forget. Her son David also preceded her in death. Doris is survived by her daughter Corinne and her son Lyndell, six grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren, a legacy she built with generosity, warmth, and humor. She believed in kindness, hard work, and above all, she believed in the power of God and family.

A viewing will be held on Friday, October 9, 2026 with funeral services on Saturday, October 10th, both at Luyben Dilday Mortuary in Lakewood, California. Doris will be laid to rest immediately following the funeral service at All Souls Catholic Cemetery in Long Beach, California.
