Don (“Donnie”) Wayne McLey peacefully passed from this life in Los Alamitos, California on the morning of September 7, 2018, due to complications of a recent Brain Hemorrhage/Seizures. He was 82. Don was born in Nebraska in 1936 and moved to the Oildale/Bakersfield area in the 1940’s, then to Lakewood, CA with his wife and kids in the 1960’s. Don was a successful businessman and great plumber who enjoyed dirt bike riding, golf, fishing, and in retirement, hanging out at his favorite watering hole, Glory Days. Don is leaving behind a great number of friends and is survived by his son Mike, granddaughter(s) Michelle, Tiffany, Adriene, and Serena, grandson Matthew, along with six great grandchildren. He will be remembered as a kind and giving friend and will be dearly missed. It is with love and blessings that we send our Papa back home to God in the company of angels. 1/11/36-9/7/18
