Donald Anthony Manion

Donald Manion, 63, passed away at his home in Signal Hill surrounded by family and friends after a battle with cancer. His funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 13, at 10:00, at St. Maria Goretti Church in Long Beach.

Don was born on October 28, 1958 in Long Beach, California to Jim and Joan Manion. He attended grade school at St. Maria Goretti School and later graduated from Lakewood High School in 1976. Don worked for several years at the Pantry Market and then joined the family rain guttering business with his brothers Steve and Bob. Don enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid surfer. He enjoyed life and had a great sense of humor. Don created lasting memories and friendships. He was gone from us much too soon.

He is survived by his parents Jim and Joan as well as his siblings Jim and Janet, Bill and Fran, Bob and Angie, Sam and Teresa, Steve and Brandi and his eight nephews and five nieces.
