Divinia Quintana Maramba of Lakewood, California, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 28, 2024 surrounded by her family, after an ongoing battle with cancer. Born on October 21, 1953 in Manila, Philippines, Divinia was the daughter of Benito and Amparo Quintana.
She attended Immaculate Heart of Mary College and graduated from Centro Escolar University in the Philippines with a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology. She worked in the Microbiology and Blood Bank Laboratories at LAC+USC Medical Center in Los Angeles for over 43 years.
Divinia is survived by her husband, Adolfo Maramba; her 3 children: Michelle Maramba Costa, Kristine Maramba Sagale, and Patrick Maramba; her sons-in-law, Pino Costa, and Alex Sagale; her daughter-in-law Kristine Diaz Maramba; her granddaughters Chloe and Cassidy Sagale; her brother Benito Quintana Jr., and her sister Belinda Buan.
Divinia was a loving and caring wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was one of a kind and will be deeply missed. Let us remember the positive impact she had in each of our lives and the memories we created with her.
