David Lee Elder was born in Long Beach, CA on August 22, 1959 to Jennie Marie Elder and Philip Irving Elder. He attended Woodrow Wilson High School, graduating in 1977. He continued his education at CSULB earning his BS in Criminal Justice, then hired by the LA County Marshals Department in 1980. He became a Deputy Sheriff after merging in 1994. David left this Earth to be with God on November 27th, surrounded by his loved ones, and wife of 32 years. Memorial Services will be on Tuesday, January 5th at 11:00 am at Harvest Orange County, 17600 Gillette Avenue, Irvine CA.
