Daniel "Danny" Rodgers

Daniel “Danny” Rodgers of Lakewood, CA. Survived by loving parents Walt (deceased) and Marilyn Rodgers, sisters Lynn (Steve) Roller and Luan Rodgers (Brian) Evans, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

Danny was born at St. Mary’s Hospital in Long Beach, CA, and was raised in Lakewood. He attended Madison Elementary, St. Pancratius Catholic School, Hoover Jr. High and Lakewood High School as well as a variety of Trade and Technician Schools. Danny recently retired after 30 plus years in the building maintenance industry as a General Building Maintenance Engineer – International Union of Operating Engineers Local 501.

Danny always had a passion for sports and started playing baseball when he was 8 ½ years old. Throughout the years his hobbies included camping, fishing, skiing, motorcycle riding, and photography as well as car, drag and boat races. He was also an avid Angels, Dodgers and Raiders fan. He loved “going to Vegas” and traveled several times to Mexico and Hawaii. He loved all types of music – from Alabama to ZZ Top and never missed a good concert.

As you keep his family, especially his mom, in your thoughts and prayers, reminisce about all the good times you had with Danny – the ones filled with fun, laughter and shenanigans….
