Daisy Gabayan Talag

Daisy Gabayan Talag, 83, of Torrance, California, died peacefully in her sleep and entered Heaven’s gates on March 18, 2022. Born July 29, 1938, in Calinan, Davao City, Philippines, she was preceded in death by her parents, Pedro Gabayan and Leonides Semilla.
Daisy worked for Los Angeles County for over 22 years. During her time working, she enjoyed the interaction with all her co-workers and the potlucks. As a loving and dedicated mother, Daisy was an exceptional cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends. She always loved the family gatherings watching her grandchildren play and dance. The highlight of any day would be when she saw any of her 14 grand-children. She always cherished the time she spent with her children and grand-children, always making sure they would eat and at times following the grandchildren with a plate to feed them. She loved to plant and would point out plants and flowers her children should plant in their yards. Her infectious smile and laughter will never be forgotten.
Survivors include her five children, Mat (Rosa) Talag of Lakewood, CA, Dennis (Gloria) Talag of Brea, CA, Myla (James) Mar of Elk Grove, CA, Mark (Tracy) Talag of Fullerton, CA and Maria Goretti Talag of San Diego, CA. Her 14 grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, Christopher and Aaron (Mat and Rosa), Michaelangelo and Kailani (Dennis and Gloria), Justine and Joshua (Myla and James), John David, Tyler, Nicholas, Zachary, Meghan and Addison (Mark and Tracy).
