A much-loved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Christina Villarin Sachuk, 95, of Bellflower, California died at 12:35 PM, Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Seal Beach Health & Rehabilitation Center after a brief illness. She was born July 24, 1925 in Paete, Philippines, to Casiano Villarin and Maura Ibanez. She was married to the late Stanley J Sachuk.  She is survived by her son, Robert, and her daughters, Cynthia and Linda, along with four grandchildren and four great grand-children.

Once moving to the United States in 1947, Christina became a long-time resident of Greenville, Rhode Island and, later, Bellflower, California. During that time, she worked as a librarian as well as both a high school and Catholic convent cook.  As a homemaker, she loved cooking and crafts.  Christina was an exceptionally independent woman. She is best known as the loving matriarch of the family.

The visitation is from 11 AM until 2 PM on Friday, June 4, 2021 at the Luyben Dilday Mortuary. The funeral service will follow at 3 PM on Friday, June 4, 2021, also at the Luyben Dilday Mortuary. Private burial.
