Chrisie L. Cavins

Chrisie Cavins passed away in peace on Wednesday, November 2, 2017 at her home in Long Beach at the age of 90 with family surrounding her with love.

Chrisie was born July 28, 1927, and raised in Emmetsburg, Iowa. Her mother and father would eventually move the family to California, where she raised her own family.  Her parents Constantine and Fotini Papadakis and four siblings, John, Lynn, Tina, and Luka, predeceased her.

She is survived by one daughter, Ellen Anderson, one son, Dino Cavins, her three granddaughters, and seven great-grandchildren.

Chrisie will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a hardworking, dedicated, woman who loved her family very much.  She was humble, had a large heart, and was always known to be a firecracker.  She will be greatly missed by many.
